This cute, 1930's Bungalow is perfectly located down the street from Old Main, Dickson Street, and the downtown square. With 1571 square feet atop a hill, it has plenty of room for privacy in the midst of the downtown area.

Proposed Floor PlanIt has a large, deep lot, sits way off the street, and has great room out back. While there will be no change to the footprint of the building, the house will be completely restored on the outside with all siding and trim issues repaired, new custom lattice, new beadboard porch ceiling, some new doors, and new paint.  The existing vinyl windows (that are new) will be reused, and simulated divided light muntins will be added to the upper sashes for more of a craftsman look.  The basement windows, however, will be replaced with new vinyl windows. The house will also get a new roof and some new exterior doors.

The entire interior will be redone with all new walls and ceilings, two new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and a completely revised floor plan that includes two bedrooms on the main floor (one is a master bedroom with private bath), hall bath, a large living room with built-in fireplace and access to the covered front porch, an adjacent dining room, and kitchen.  There will also be a finished, ground-level rec room that includes laundry facilities.  This single story house has 8’-10” ceilings throughout and will also have wood floors in all rooms other than baths.  Baths will have mosaic tile floors.  The portion of the basement that is unfinished will be cleaned up and serve as a utility area for HVAC and water heater.
