In 2006, I did a minor rehabilitation of a classic, Grimm’s Fairy Tale storybook stone cottage/bungalow at 100 Skyline Drive at the very top of Mt. Sequoyah in Fayetteville.

It was designed and built by local architect Thad Rowden, Jr,. in 1937 and he lived there until the 1980s. We finished of an 800-square foot attic into living space, cleaned up its basement apartment and converted that into an art studio, and did an overall interior rehab. We even found the original floor plans, furniture layouts, and contracts to build the house in the attic. We sold this house to my in-laws, Mitchell and Deborah Terry, who live there today.
